District Dental Societies

In order to become a member of the Alabama Dental Association, a dentist also joins the American Dental Association as well as his/her local District Dental Society. Membership in the Alabama Dental Association and the American Dental Association occurs simultaneously with the District Dental Society. Refer to the list below to see what District Dental Society you will join according to your County.

Mobile District Dental Society

Counties of Baldwin, Choctaw, Mobile and Washington.

Second District Dental Society

Counties of Autauga, Butler, Bullock, Chilton, Coosa, Crenshaw, Dallas, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery and Perry.

Third District Dental Society

Counties of Houston, Barbour, Coffee, Covington, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Pike.

Fourth District Dental Society

Counties of Clarke, Conecuh, Escambia, Monroe and Wilcox.

Fifth District Dental Society

Counties of Etowah, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, DeKalb, Marshall, Saint Clair and Talladega.

Sixth District Dental Society

Counties of Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Pickens, Sumter and Walker.

Birmingham District Dental Society

Counties of Jefferson and Shelby.

Eighth District Dental Society

Counties of Madison, Colbert, Cullman, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Morgan and Winston.

Ninth District Dental Society
