The Grand Summit Resort Hotel and Conference Center is a
premiere Rocky Mountain experience. The hotel was selected
by NBC as the headquarters for its broadcast of the 2002
Winter Olympics.
The ski area, known as the Canyons, features the largest
ski and snowboard resort in Utah in an Alpine community
beyond comparison. The resort offers convenient slope-side
lodging, shops and restaurants all designed to give visitors
the ultimate skiing experience.
Amenities - The Grand Summit Resort Hotel has
360 guestroom accommodations ranging from hotel rooms
to one-, two- or three-bedroom suites. Sundial Lodge,
located adjacent to the Summit, offers 150 hotel rooms
and condominiums. All rooms in both properties have color
television, in-room coffee, dual phone lines with fax
modem and voice mail, hair dryers, iron and board, alarm
clock, CD player, stereo. Most rooms have whirlpool tubs
and full kitchens featuring GE profile appliances and
granite countertops.
Hotel amenities include daily housekeeping, retail shops,
guest services, bell/valet service, daycare, ski check,
game room, hotel shuttle, heated underground parking,
dry cleaning, laundry services, and 24-hour business services.
Continuing Education - The Ski 'n Learn Seminar
offers 16 hours of continuing education held Monday, March
24 through Thursday, March 27. A morning session will
be held from 7:30-9:30 a.m., with an afternoon session
from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Breakfast will be served to seminar
attendees at the morning sessions and snacks are offered
during the afternoon sessions
Air Transportation - The Canyons is approximately
32 miles from the Salt Lake International Airport. Participants
may take advantage of special fares from Delta Airlines
by using the toll free number and reference and file number
shown on the registration form.
